I wrote this song more than a year ago for someone who I mistakenly thought was very special. This song itself became so precious to me that I only played it for her and myself and one other person, ever.
I have recently come to realize that this person is in fact not so special, she's become just like everyone else. And I almost cried. As disappointed as this makes me, my sheltered treatment of this song has dissolved concordantly.
Last week I dug it up, fixed some words, added a guitar interlude, and laid down a *rough* recording - This Girl audio. Please forgive my voice, I do have a cold. I know it's long, but I had a lot to say. Please listen to the whole song. Thanks.

I fell in love with the song. It's tragically beautiful. It's funny how people appear to be something..then you find that they are not even close to what you thought. You have a great voice, I dig the emotion in the song. Listening to it made the experience a lot stronger. I love it.
