When life just doesn't feel right
I stand beneath the streetlight
Playing with the shaddows
on the pavement 'till the sun rise
Angry neighbors wake to find
me singing to the stop sign
Chasing after butterflies
and dancing in the rain

I closed my eyes and I
stepped across the train tracks
Noise filled my ears and I
never once looked back
All I wanted was to fill
my lungs with city air
The stench of suburbs clings to yuppies
like a purfume that they wear
And no one seems to care!

I don't have time to worry
Nervous life is not for me
I go where I'm happy to be
It's just an eccentricity
Righto, nothing special here- poetrywise. Just a goofy song I came up with, not meant for a solo performer, but I wanted to lay it down before I forgot it. Didn't use any recording equipment, just plugged in a mic and spat it out. I am perfectly aware that my voice is awful, there's nothing I can do about it. Just pretend it sounds like a good singer and that the notes are in tune.

Yeah, I have no photoshop skills either-- image created in MSPaint, heh. Goodnight everyone!
